Migros — Category-Based SKU Carbon Study
For Migros, an SKU-level carbon footprint study on private-label products was carried out on the CarbonSmart platform.
Supplier data, Migros's private-label product trees, packaging components and cold chain logistics were defined within the platform. Product carbon footprints were calculated at the SKU level for the priority category; category emission intensity and alternative supplier / packaging scenarios were reported comparatively. The output served both the sustainability team's reporting and category management's shelf strategy.
