Zero Emissions
Definition
Refers to the state in which an organization, product, or system emits no greenhouse gases into the atmosphere as a result of its activities; this target generally becomes theoretically possible through the combined application of fully renewable energy use, process optimization, energy efficiency, and carbon removal technologies.
